Bernard Wysocki Jr.

Bernie Wysocki brought 40 years of experience in financial journalism, business development and investment research to Eachwin and was responsible for the healthcare sector. He retired at the end of 2016.

Prior to joining Eachwin, Bernie spent five years conducting in-depth research on public companies for institutional investors. As the founder of Potomac Investment Research, he worked directly with senior portfolio managers of investment funds, including Lone Pine Capital and Route One Investment Co., evaluating companies in the U.S. and globally. He specializes in gathering information through one-on-one interviews, to assess the management skills of top executives and to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the businesses they run.

Bernie spent 32 years at Dow Jones & Co., from 1975-2007, primarily as a reporter, editor and foreign correspondent for The Wall Street Journal. He held several newsroom management positions in New York, was bureau chief in Tokyo, and was an “Outlook” columnist and economics specialist in Washington. He won three journalism prizes while at the Journal.

From 1991-1995, he worked as a business-development executive at Dow Jones, heading the overseas expansion of Dow Jones News Retrieval (now Factiva) into Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

He is a graduate of Dartmouth College, Hanover, N.H., class of 1971.
