Cullen Rose

Cullen Rose covered the Technology sector for Eachwin in its early days. He joined Stillwater Investment Management in January 2015.

Prior to joining Eachwin, Cullen spent six years at Relational Investors LLC, an activist public equities fund. Cullen focused on generating investment ideas, conducting diligence, and assessing management and board quality. He worked with portfolio companies on issues including shareholder value, compensation, and corporate governance. He also served as an observer to the board of Guaranty Bancorp, a NASDAQ-listed regional bank.

Cullen graduated Cum Laude with a B.A. degree in Economics and Legal Studies from Claremont McKenna College in 2004. He received an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business in 2012. He is a CFA Charterholder.

Elizabeth Kostolansky

Elizabeth Kostolansky led all of Eachwin’s administrative efforts as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. She joined General Equity Holdings in November 2016.

Elizabeth has spent over 20 years in the financial services industry, with business and operations management, compliance and start up experience. Prior to joining Eachwin, Elizabeth helped create Bank of America Securities’ $1 billion proprietary capital, hedge fund investment program. She took responsibility for evaluating prospective managers’ operational infrastructure, execution/trading controls, and compliance programs and negotiated the governing legal documents. Soon after, she joined a $500mm long-short hedge fund where she served as Chief Operating Officer. There she was responsible for the operations, finance, compliance and marketing functions. She served as the Chief Compliance Officer, developing and implementing a comprehensive compliance program, including registering with the SEC and establishing the firm as a Qualified Professional Asset Manager.

Elizabeth’s financial services career began in the convertible bond arena. She entered the Salomon Brothers’ training program in 1993 and worked there for five years, after which she joined Bank of America, initially in Convertible Sales and ultimately as Business Manager for the Outsourced Proprietary Trading Platform. Elizabeth graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B. A. in Marketing from St. Ambrose University in 1988. She earned her Master of Management degree from Northwestern University’s J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management in 1993.

Elizabeth has been active in a variety of local community organizations and is a member of 100 Women in Hedge Funds and a member of the St. Ambrose University College of Business Alumni Advisory Council.

Corinne James

Corinne James joined Eachwin in 2014 to lead its Client Development efforts.

Prior to joining Eachwin, Corinne was Director of Marketing at Traxis Partners, the global macro fund founded by the late Barton Biggs. Previously, Corinne was with Endeavour Capital (a long-short equity fund specializing in financial services). In 2005, she assisted with the successful re-launch of Moon Capital Management when the Moon investment team spun out of Oaktree management.

Corinne’s career began as a Research Associate at Greenwich Associates, a CT-based market research and consulting firm specializing in the financial services industry. She spent five years as a member of the Prime Brokerage Sales and Marketing team at Morgan Stanley.

Corinne earned her bachelor of arts from Vanderbilt University with a double major in Economics and Fine Arts in 1997. She is a member of the Greenwich Academy Alumnae Association Board and a member of 100 Women in Hedge Funds.

Corinne joined Morgan Stanley Wealth Management in November 2016.

Ross Gabrielson

Ross Gabrielson supported Eachwin’s research efforts in the Financial, Healthcare, and Technology sectors. He joined Wafra Investment Advisory Group in March 2016.

Prior to joining Eachwin, Ross worked as an analyst at Moody’s Investors Service where he specialized in project finance, housing authorities and mortgage pools. While in business school, Ross worked for two long/short equity hedge funds, a long-only mutual fund and a long-only family office.

Ross graduated Cum Laude with a B.A. from Columbia University in 2006, majoring in Political Science and concentrating in Art History. He received an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School in 2012, where he was a member of the Value Investing Program and graduated with Dean’s Honors and Distinction. Ross is a CFA® charterholder. He is also a licensed private pilot.

Lan Le

Lan Le joined Eachwin at its inception in 2010. She wore many hats during the start-up phase and ultimately took responsibility for portfolio analytics and operational support.

Lan is a Cum Laude graduate of Smith College, Northampton, Mass., class of 2009, with a double major in economics and East Asian languages and cultures. She has been inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Society. In addition to being bilingual in Vietnamese and English, she has advanced Japanese reading and speaking skills. Lan is a CFA® Charterholder.
Lan became a Portfolio Analyst at Colonial Consulting in May 2017.

Elaine Hoogkamp

Elaine has been with Eachwin since its inception and continues to act as its Chief of Staff. Prior to the creation of Eachwin, she worked with Mayree Clark at Aetos Capital/AEA Holdings.

Elaine worked in the administration of New York State Governor George Pataki for 10 years, as Director of Scheduling, Briefings Director, and as an Assistant Deputy Commissioner with the NYS Division of Marketing, Advertising and Tourism.

Elaine holds an M.A. degree from the College of Saint Rose and a B.S. from the State University College at Plattsburgh.

Alistair Thornton

Alistair Thornton led Eachwin’s research efforts in the Technology sector beginning in 2015.

Prior to joining Eachwin, Alistair was a Senior China Economist at IHS, a global markets and analytics firm that provides economic forecasts and industry analysis for 200 countries and 170 sectors. Based in Beijing for five years, Alistair formulated and presented IHS’ China view to a global client base and the media, which he developed through in-depth sector-level primary research in the financial markets and broader economy. While in business school, Alistair worked at Parnassus Investments.

Alistair read philosophy and economics at the University of Edinburgh, graduating in 2006. He received his M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business in 2015, where he was President of the Government and Politics Club. Alistair was born in London and speaks Mandarin.

Alistair joined Facebook, Inc. in the fall of 2017.

Clarke Smith

Clarke Smith led Eachwin’s research efforts in the Industrials, Energy, Material, Utility and Healthcare sectors.
Prior to Eachwin, Clarke worked in long-short credit proprietary trading at Barclays Capital, both as an analyst and as a trader, where he identified relative value opportunities in high-yield and high-grade corporate credit using rigorous fundamental analysis. During business school he worked in special situations investing at Mount Kellett Capital.

Clarke graduated Summa Cum Laude with an A.B. degree in Classics from Princeton University in 2007 and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Society. He received his M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business in 2012, where he was the President of the Graduate Rugby Club. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the New York Rugby Club.

Clarke joined Pzena Investment Management in June 2017.

Dana Pasternak

Dana Pasternak joined our team in early 2016 to lead Eachwin’s research efforts in the Financial and Healthcare sectors.

Prior to Eachwin, Dana was a Senior Equity Research Associate at Sanford C. Bernstein working with the #1 Institutional Investor-ranked analyst focused on US large-cap banks. Previously, Dana was a Vice President at Credit Suisse in Group Strategy where he advised senior management on trends across financial services, and identified key opportunities for the firm. Dana was a Special Assistant at the U.S. Department of the Treasury in the Office of Domestic Finance from 2008-2009, and an analyst at RBS Greenwich Capital in its asset-backed finance group from 2005-2008. Dana began his career as a Research Associate at Greenwich Associates.

Dana graduated Cum Laude with a B.A. in History from Princeton University in 2003. He received an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and an MIA from the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University in 2012.

Dana joined Ally Financial in January 2017.

Ariel Goldblatt

Ariel Goldblatt led Eachwin’s research efforts in the Consumer and Healthcare sectors.

Prior to Eachwin, Ariel worked in private equity at Apax Partners where she specialized in the healthcare sector, identifying and evaluating long-term growth investment opportunities through financial, commercial and legal due diligence. Prior to business school she was engaged in the mezzanine debt business with Crescent Capital Group, and was an investment banking analyst in the Mergers & Acquisitions group at Merrill Lynch.

Ariel graduated with Honors with a B.S. degree in Finance and International Business from the Schreyer Honors College at the Pennsylvania State University in 2004. She earned her M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 2010. She is an active mentor to current students at both Wharton and Penn State.

Ariel joined the strategy group at CNBC in early 2017.
